MANILA, Philippines—The Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 150 on Monday allowed pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles to undergo medical check-up outside Fort Sto. Domingo in Laguna.

Judge Elmo Alameda, however, turned down Napoles’ bid to have her check-up held at St. Luke’s Medical Center at Global City in Taguig.

Napoles’ camp sought the lower court’s permission to undergo transvaginal ultrasound after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

The court issued the ruling after Senior Inspector Michael Angelo Luna, attending physician assigned in Fort Sto. Domingo, testified that the hospital in Camp Crame has enough facilities to perform the required medical procedure.
