MANILA. Philippines – A 4.3 magnitude quake jolted Antique early Monday but no damages were recorded, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The tectonic quake’s epicenter was 15 kilometers northwest of Anini-y. It was recorded at 2:13a.m.
It had a depth of 9 kilometers but there were no reported intensity.
Phivolc said no aftershocks were also expected from the tremor.
The Philippines sits on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, making it prone to volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
