PARIS – Two sisters were found stabbed to death Thursday in a Paris apartment where a suspect was seriously injured after he jumped out of a window when the bodies were discovered, police told AFP.
The suspect, in his twenties, is a relative of the two women, aged between 20 to 25, who lived together, police said.
“The two young women, apparently victims of a stabbing, were discovered in a pool of blood by the concierge in the building,” a police source said.
Police said a friend had come by to visit the women and getting no response had sought help from the concierge.
The bodies were discovered around 8:00 pm (1900 GMT) in the building on boulevard Edgar Quinet in the 14th arrondissement of the French capital.
The young man jumped out of a window in the apartment on the sixth floor and suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital, the police source added.
