PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte–A German tourist, who was reported missing after a kite-boarding accident in Barangay Saud in this coastal town on Saturday, was found dead on Tuesday, reports from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) said.

Pedro Agcaoili, chief of the administration unit of the Ilocos Norte PDRRMC, said a team of policemen and Philippine Coast Guard personnel found the body of Carlsten Clewin, 41, in the remote village of Caparispisan, some 5 km from where he was last seen kite-boarding in Saud beach.

Coast Guard Second Petty Officer Jimmy Dilag said Clewin’s body was taken to a funeral parlor in this town.
