RDAK beats Joli Trading

RDAK wrapped up its stint in the elimination round with a 72-47 massacre of Jolli Trading as they finished as the fourth seed heading to the quarterfinal round of the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association last Sunday at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu campus in Canduman, Mandaue City.

James Edquilla finished with 22 points to lead the way for RDAK, which wound up with a 9-3 (win-loss) record.

They broke the game wide open in the second canto when they outscored Jolli Trading, 24-7.

In other results, Kiki’s Catering scored a 68-47 win over Filmon to end up as the fifth seed.

Ed Macasling paced the winning squad with 22 markers.

Gaisano Capital also advanced to the next round as they eked past San Remegio Beach Club, 33-32, to even their record out at 6-6.

A+ Structures also routed Mackent, 78-51, to take the sixth seed.

Kunstof grabbed the eight and final ticket to the next round as they defeated Fiesta Cebuana Caters, 61-56.

Defending champions, Kia Motors emerged as the top seed with their 10-2 record while Istorya.net, which had the same record as the latter, fell to the second spot by virtue of the winner-over-the-other rule. Dynacast is the third seed with a 9-3 mark./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
