MANILA, Philippines—Chief Superintendent George Regis has finally assumed his post as Quezon City Police District director on Thursday, a month after his name was floated as the replacement of Chief Supt. Benjardi Mantele.
Regis assumed the leadership in simple turnover ceremonies at Camp Karingal.
A member of the Philippine Military Academy’s Class 1980, Regis has held various posts in the QCPD, including as station commander of Fairview and of Batasan.
