Ateneo suspends classes, work due to bomb scare

MANILA, Philippines–The Ateneo de Manila University suspended Wednesday all classes and office work due to an alleged bomb threat, said its official school publication.

The Guidon announced Wednesday over Twitter that news of a bomb scare circulated around Ateneo at about 12 noon in its Quezon City campus along Katipunan Avenue.

Police have already responded in the area, it said.

“All Loyola Schools buildings are being evacuated due to an alleged bomb threat. We’re currently gathering more info on this story,” it added.
