MANILA, Philippines – The northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan” will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said Monday.
The northeast monsoon was responsible for bringing cold weather. It was warm, however, in Metro Manila as temperatures on Sunday were between 22.22 degrees Celsius and 32.2 degrees Celsius.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its bulletin.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country.
The coastal waters throughout the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate.
