4 men executed in Cotabato City village
COTABATO CITY, Philippines – Four persons were found dead in the Rio Grande de Mindanao and authorities believed they were victims of summary execution.
Senior Superintendent Roberto Badian, city police chief, identified the victims as Ismael Abdulwahid, Aliudin Datumanong and Nasrudin Guiabar, all residents of Barangay (Village) Bagua, Cotabato City, and Arafat Macmod of Barangay Salimbao, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.
Badian said police were informed about a shooting in Barangay Poblacion Mother at about 10 p.m. on Saturday. When the police arrived they found three bodies beside the river and another in the water.
Badian said police investigators were still investigating the possible motives for the killings.
