MANILA, Philippines—The eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience warm winds from the east or “easterlies” on Sunday, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Leyte, Central Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Pagasa, in its 7 a.m. weather bulletin, said Surigao Del Norte, Surigao Del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan Del Sur, General Santos City and Davao Oriental were affected by a thunderstorm expected to last for up to two hours.
