QUEZON CITY, Philippines — An hour-long fire damaged the Quezon City residence of former Bureau of Customs Commissioner Salvador Mison Friday afternoon.
Deputy city fire marshal Supt. Samuel Tadeo said the fire broke out around 3:35 p.m. at 73 Times Street in Barangay West Triangle. It started inside the computer room, leading investigators to suspect that it was caused by an electrical malfunction.
No one was injured but the damaged property included a Volvo, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Toyota Altis in the garage.
Only the househelper of the Misons was at home when the fire started, authorities said. Julie M. Aurelio
