Fire hits residential block in San Francisco Del Monte, QC

MANILA, Philippines–Fire razed a residential area in Quezon City three hours after a blaze in Pandacan, Manila on Tuesday.
Radio reports said the fire that started shortly before 11 a.m. gutted several houses on San Jose Street in Barangay (village) San Antonio, San Francisco Del Monte district.

The fire reached the fifth alarm around 11:45 a.m. as it swept through a wide residential block.

Reports added that affected families have started evacuating to a nearby covered court in the district.
Earlier Tuesday, fire of still undetermined origin hit a residential area in Pandacan, Manila.
One was injured in the Manila fire that reached the third alarm at 8 a.m.
