‘Buy Filipino’ pushed at Greenhills fair

In keeping with its “Buy Filipino” advocacy, the 21st Fiesta Fair Manila, popularly known as the Greenhills Shopping Center tiangge is now under way and will run until Feb. 3.

The fair is organized by Prime Asia Trade Planners and Convention Organizers (Patepco) headed by Henry Babiera.

It features about 1,400 stalls run by local manufacturers, mall suppliers, wholesalers and retailers.

Babiera, the brains behind Las Farolas museum of river monsters located on Frontera Verde Drive, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City, invites visitors to take advantage of the 50-percent discount on the entrance fee until Feb. 20.

Las Farolas also has stores within the facility that sell exotic freshwater fishes, aquarium accessories and fish meals.

Also headed by Babiera, Ofbeap works with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in the preservation and conservation of endemic freshwater species.
