MANILA, Philippines—Despite the dissipation of the low pressure area that lingered in the country for almost two weeks, Mindanao and Eastern Visayas would still experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunder storms, the state weather bureau said.

In its weather bulletin issued at 5 a.m. Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also said the northeast monsoon (locally known as amihan) would continue to bring cold breeze to the country.
