MANILA, Philippines — Senator Ramon Bong” Revilla Jr. is planning to get back at his enemies by filing cases against them in court after his father and namesake former Senator  Ramon Revilla Sr. was dragged  into the “pork barrel” scam.

“It’s painful. Why does it have to be my father,” the senator told reporters on Wednesday.

“My father is in a wheelchair. He’s sick and is recuperating. He’s here to fight for our name and honor. And he has to be implicated. What kind of people are they. They have no heart,” Revilla said in Filipino.

Senator Revilla said he has yet to talk to his father but dismissed Benhur Luy’s allegation that the former senator had also dealt with businesswoman Janet Lim- Napoles, the alleged mastermind of the P10-billion “pork barrel” scam.

The senator believes that Malacanang was behind Luy’s new allegation against his father.

“It’s obvious who’s manipulating them – Malacañang. When I slammed Malacañang, that was their response to cover up the issue about Corona,” he said, referring to his claim in a privilege speech Monday that President Benigno Aquino III had meddled in the impeachment trial against then Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Asked if he thought that Luy was a “puppet” of Malacanang, Senator Revilla said:
“It’s a clear as day.”

Senator Revilla then revealed his plan to file cases against his enemies, including government officials, whom he refused to name.

“We will file a case. The lawyers are studying it,” he said.

“Definitely, we will go after everyone. We will file a case. And whoever is found guilty should be held responsible. It’s not enough to point a finger at anyone,” the senator added.
