PasaY City has a new chief prosecutor, Niven R. Canlapan.
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima replaced Elmer Mitra as Pasay City chief prosecutor after one of his assistant prosecutors ordered the release of a Chinese national who was arrested for possession of firearms and hand grenades, and for attempted murder.
There have been allegations about cases at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office being dropped or downgraded to a lesser charge after the respondents bribed the prosecutors.
Pasay City has the most number of corrupt prosecutors.
All of them, even the honest ones (if there are any), should be reassigned.
The prosecutors who don’t accept bribes should also be punished for not telling on their corrupt colleagues.

Secretary De Lima should not just stop at ordering the changing of the guards at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
She should also investigate the prosecutor who loses hundreds of thousands of pesos at casinos every other night.
Everyone in Pasay City and even those at the Department of Justice know who that prosecutor is.
Where does he get all the money that he gambles away?

It’s more fun in the Philippines, according to the Department of Tourism.
Yes, it’s definitely more fun, especially for pedophiles.
Many foreigners come to our shores to have sex with our children who are pimped by their very own parents.
If I had my way, I would have the parents shot.
Parents who pimp their own children don’t have any right to live because they reproduce like rabbits.
They want to have more children, especially girls, so they can sell them.

Likewise, parents who condone their children’s criminal acts should be punished severely.
They should be sent to prison to suffer the consequences of their children’s criminal acts.
That stupid law introduced by then Sen. Kiko Pangilinan has worsened the crime situation in the country because children below 15 years of age can’t be charged for any crime they commit.
According to that stupid law, children can only be turned over to the care of their parents who, most of the time, encourage them to commit more crimes.
Called the Juvenile Justice Welfare Act (Republic Act No. 9344), the law has led to more child offenders.
I’ve talked to many policemen about the Pangilinan law and they told me it should be repealed or amended.
