MANILA, Philippines—Foreign nationals arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in a drug raid in Makati Wednesday refused to answer the complaint for illegal drugs filed against them.
James Clayton Riach and Ali Memar Mortayazi Shirazi appeared before the Department of Justice for their inquest.
But the two said they opted to answer the case against them in court.
This prompted Assistant Prosecutor Anna Marie Devanadera to submit the case for resolution.
