MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake shook parts of Mindanao Sunday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said in a bulletin.
The quake struck at 9:07 p.m. four kilometres southeast of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.
It had a depth of 113 kilometers.
Intensity 4 was felt in Mati, Davao Oriental; Intensity 3 in General Santos City, Tagum City, Davao City, Tampakan in South Cotabato and Malita in Davao del Sur; and Intensity 2 in Kidapawan City.
No damage was reported and no aftershocks were expected from the tectonic quake.
