Abandoned boxes spark bomb scare at Pasay mall

MANILA, Philippines — The authorities cordoned off a portion of SM Mall of Asia parking area Sunday night after two abandoned boxes were suspected to contain explosives, a radio report said.

The report said the two packages were found by the security personnel around 8 p.m. along the MOA Ocean Drive parkway in Pasay City.

INQUIRER.net tried to reach Pasay police authorities but were not readily available for comment.
