37 flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines – At least 37 flights were cancelled on Saturday as the low pressure area continues to bring rains to some Visayas and Mindanao provinces.

Cebu Pacific Air, in its latest advisory, announced that most flights from Manila to Mindanao provinces and vice versa have been cancelled due to bad weather. These include:

5J381–Manila to Cagayan de Oro

5J382 –Cagayan de Oro to Manila

5J215 – Cagayan de Oro to Davao

5J216 –Davao to Cagayan de Oro

5J781– Manila to Ozamiz

5J782 –Ozamiz to Manila

5J391D – Manila to Cagayan de Oro

5J392D – Cagayan de Oro to Manila

5J397 – Manila to Cagayan de Oro

5J398 – Cagayan de Oro to Manila

5J205 – Cebu to Cagayan de Oro

5J206 – Cagayan de Oro to Cebu

5J625– Manila to Dumaguete

5J626 – Dumaguete to Manila

5J873 – Cebu to Surigao

57J874 – Surigao to Cebu

The airline advised passengers booked for the following flights to avail of the options the company gave for free: rebooking or re-routing of flights within 30 days; conversion of full value of fares in a travel fund; or full refund.

“Affected guests may call Cebu Pacific’s reservation numbers (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888 for details of their preferred option.” it added.

Cebu Pacific also sought public understanding of the flight cancellations and assured passengers of updates.

The Department of Transportation and Communication announced Saturday morning that 16 more flights were cancelled also due to bad weather. These are:

5J-704 – Dipolog to Manila

2P-545 – Manila to Dumaguete

2P-546 – Dumaguete to Manila

Z2-340 – Manila to Cagayan de Oro

Z2-341 – Cagayan de Oro to Manila

Z2-350 – Manila to Tagbilaran

Z2-350 –Tagbilaran to Manila

5J-383 –Manila to Cagayan de Oro

5J-384 – Cagayan de Oro to Manila

5J-785 – Manila to Butuan

5J-786 – Butuan to Manila

Z2-348 – Manila to Cagayan de Oro

Z2-349 – Cagayan de Oro-MNL

As of 2 p.m., DOTC also announced the cancellation of the following flights:

2P-047 – Manila to Caticlan

2P-048 – Caticlan to Manila

2P-587 – Manila to Dipolog

2P-588 – Dipolog to Manila

2P-065  – Manila to Surigao
