Comedian Willie Nepomuceno’s grandson shot, injured in Marikina City
MANILA, Philippines — The grandson of actor-impersonator Willie Nepomuceno was shot and injured in Marikina City early Thursday.
Senior Superintendent Reynaldo Jagmis, the city’s chief of police, said Sean Gabriel Nepomuceno, 16, and three others had just gone out of a computer shop on Bayanbayanan, at the corner of Bugallon Street in Marikina Heights, when shots were fired by at least four men in a four-wheel vehicle at 2:50 a.m.
Police said Nepomuceno has been rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center after he sustained a bullet wound in the chest.
One of his companions, he said, was shot in the leg and has undergone treatment.
Jagmis said witnesses managed to jot down the plate number of the vehicle but he refused to say what this was.
