MANILA, Philippines–A generally fair weather and a possibility of light rains is forecast on Thursday at the Feast of Black Nazarene, the state weather bureau said.

The light rains will be caused by the northeast monsoon that is prevailing in Luzon.

“Tomorrow, Metro Manila will have a generally fair weather condition apart from possible occurrence of light rains due to the northeast monsoon. Colder early morning temperature is expected to persist while winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast,” Robert Sawi, officer-in-charge of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s weather division said in a statement on Wednesday.
