/ 07:43 AM January 08, 2014

A LAWYER who filed charges against a female Cebu City prosecutor was released from police custody  following   his arrest at home  in  barangay Lawaan, Talisay City.

Lawyer Floro Casas Jr., 34,  was issued a warrant of arrest after he failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing of his grave oral defamation complaint against  Asst. Cebu City Prosecutor Mary Ann Castro.

The two had a  heated argument over subdivision policies in Azienda Milan, Camella Homes, where they are neighbors. Casas did not resist arrest  and went with the policemen who served the bench warrant issued by  Judge Mario Manayon of Municipal Trail Court in Cities (MTCC), said SPO1 Mikie Espina of the Talisay police.
