FEATURED STORIES

SIMILAR to their first encounter, the defending champions Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters and the Alaska Aces figured in another hotly contested battle and the former came up on top anew, scoring a 121-117 overtime win at the resumption of the 39th PBA Philippine Cup yesterday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Duplicating their 114-111 overtime win over the same Alaska squad last Nov. 28, the Tropang Texters bounced back from a sorry 91-105 loss to the undermanned Petron Blaze Boosters and tied the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at the third spot with their seventh win in 10 games.
