Pagasa sees ‘great weather’ for next few days
MANILA, Philippines—Enjoy clear and sunny skies in the next few days with no storm in sight, state weather forecasters said Saturday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said easterly winds from the Pacific were the dominant weather system, bringing warm, moist winds over the archipelago.
“The weather will be great, clear and sunny especially in Southern Luzon and farther south, except for isolated thunderstorms,” forecaster Chris Perez said.
Metro Manila will experience generally fair, sometimes partly cloudy weather, with the possibility of light rains, he added.
At least one tropical cyclone is expected to visit the country in January, but there is no sign of one arriving in the next two to three days, Perez said.
