MANILA, Philippines — Fire gutted a residential area in Makati City Friday morning, an officer from the National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection said.
The blaze broke out from a house along Victoria Street in Magallanes Village, at 6:16 a.m., said Senior Fire Officer 2 Bennie Balingit.
It reached second alarm before “fire out” was declared at around 7:04 a.m., Balingit said.
No one was reportedly hurt in the fire and investigation is underway to determine what caused the fire, Balingit added.
