‘Yolanda’ death toll surpasses 6,000 mark

MANILA, Philippines—The death toll from Supertyphoon “Yolanda” has risen to 6,155, a report from the National Risk Reduction and Management Council said.

As of 6 a.m. this Sunday, the NDRMMC reported 28, 626 people were injured and 1,785 listed still missing in the aftermath of Yolanda that struck the country last November 8.

The council reported a total of P36,690,882,497.27 in damage with P18,336,576,627.39 from infrastructure damages and P18,354,305,869.88 from the agriculture sector.
