A 57-YEAR-OLD woman who claimed to be a street cleaner was arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City Friday night.
Narcisa Sullera allegedly sold a packet of suspected shabu worth P200 when operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force arrested her.
Sullera denied that a buy-bust occurred. She said she was surprised when police arrested her while she was walking along Guadalajara Street.
“Naa rakoy gihatod para sa akong apo gi-diritso man ko nila og dakop. Daghang mga konsehal kaila nako kay street cleaner ko sa barangay (I just brought something for my grandchild when I was arrested. A lot of barangay councilmen know me since I am a street cleaner in the barangay),” she said.
Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado said Sullera served as a runner for a big-time drug pusher based in Muntinlupa City./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
