Fire hits residential area in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Fire gutted a residential area in Manila Saturday afternoon, a National Capital Region-Bureau of Fire Protection official said.

Fire Officer 1 Christy Jandoltos said fire was reported along Marugo, Pasig Line in Manila at 2:04 p.m.

The fire reached third alarm before it was put out at 2:43 p.m.

No information on injuries or fatalities was available as of posting.
