/ 07:40 AM December 28, 2013

TALISAY City Mayor Johnny V. De los Reyes vetoes the Council’s insertion of a provision in the budget giving the councilors 50 job order workers each.

In a letter sent to the Council, the mayor said the city could not afford to have 50 job order employees per councilor.

The appropriation ordinance’s section 5, which de los Reyes vetoed, also provides 100 job order workers for the vice mayor and three for each barangay captain.
