Woman shot dead over attempted payroll robbery in Makati

MANILA, Philippines–A woman said to be carrying payroll money was shot dead by motorcycle-riding suspects in Makati City Thursday morning, police said.

Makati police Tactical operations Center said the incident transpired at Calatagan Street in Palanan, Makati City around 10:59 a.m.

The woman died on the spot.

A radio report said the victim was on her way to deposit money for payroll when he was attacked by the still unidentified men.
