Did you know: Graciano Nepomuceno

Sculptor and painter Graciano Nepomuceno was born on Dec. 18, 1881, in Binondo, Manila. Nepomuceno was a leading sculptor and santero (icon maker) during the early 1900s. His famous works include the figure of San Francisco in Quiapo Church and the bust of Jose Rizal done in bronze relief. He died on Dec. 30, 1974.-Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
