Man accused of raping daughter

A 37-YEAR-OLD man was accused of raping his 15-year-old daughter in Lapu-Lapu City.

The teenager went to the Mactan Police Station last December 12 to report that her father sexually abused her in their house last Dec. 7 and 8. She left their house after the latest incident and stayed at a friend’s house.

It was her friend’s parents who urged her to report the matter to authorities.

Police were supposed to just invite him for questioning on the alleged rape but by chance discovered an unlicensed .357 revolver in the suspect’s possession./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
