DZIQ: Mayor Lim leads city in destroying ‘video karera’ machines

MANILA, Philippines — Mayor Alfredo Lim led officials in destroying “video karera” machines in Manila Tuesday morning, a report on Radyo Inquirer said.

At least 102 video karera machines worth P150,000 were destroyed in front of the Andres Bonifacio monument near Manila City Hall, said officer-in-charge Alex Gutierrez.

Gutierrez added that this activity was part of their anti-illegal gambling campaign in which most of the victims of illegal gambling were minors.
