Fire razes 3 house in Quiapo

MANILA, Philippines—Fire gutted three houses in Quiapo, Manila Wednesday, a fire officer said.

The fire along Echague Carlos Palanca street started at 12:31 p.m. and a second alarm was hoisted three minutes later, said Bureau of Fire Protection officer-in-charge Senior Fire Officer 2 John Joseph Jalique.

The blaze was put out at around 1 p.m., said Jalique.

Damage to property was estimated at P50,000, he said, adding there was no reported casualty.

The BFP was still investigating the cause of the fire, Jalique said.
