Ignatian hero run blasts off

A TOTAL of 1,250 runners are expected to swarm the open grounds of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) for today’s “Ignatian Hero Run” of the silver Jubilarian Batch 1988.

According to Alan Choachuy, who is one of the organizers, they are glad for the turn out of runners for the running event that aims to help children survivors of Supertyphoon “Yolanda.”

The race will have 10-kilometer 5k and 3k distances.

The running event is organized through the cooperation of the SHS-AdC Alumni Association and the school’s parents-teachers association.

The top 10 male and female finishers in each category will receive prizes and especially designed medals. /Correspondent Dale G. Rosal
