Mild quake hits Batangas
MANILA, Philippines — A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit Batangas Wednesday afternoon but no aftershocks were expected.
The tectonic quake’s epicenter was at 22 kilometers southwest of Calatagan town, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
It had a depth of 99 kilometers and was recorded at 3:07p.m.

Intensity III was felt in Lubang in Occidental Mindoro, Phivolcs said.
No damage was recorded from the mild quake.
