Hipodromo folk get free medical, dental services

A total of 650 residents of barangay Hipodromo, Cebu City availed of free medical and dental services provided by the Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (AFI), in partnership with dyHP AM radio on Aug. 28.

Fifteen dentists from the Philippine Dental Association-Cebu Chapter, assisted by employees of Aboitiz Equity Ventures and other volunteers, performed tooth extractions.

Employees of radio dyHP and nursing students from St. Paul College also lent their services.

AFI and dyHP held the medical and dental mission to promote the well-being of the residents and to commemorate radio station’s 59th founding anniversary.

The foundation also gave free medicines and dental kits to the patients.

The mission, which falls under the Aboitiz Foundation’s primary health and child care program, aims to provide quality health care to those who cannot afford it.

The Aboitiz Foundation is the corporate foundation of the Aboitiz Group whose initiatives are focused on education, enterprise development, primary health and child care and the environment.
