CEBUANO guard Brian Heruela continued to shine in the PBA D-League as he tallied yet another double-double performance in leading the Big Chill Superchargers to a 70-63 win over the Arellano-Air21 Chiefs yesterday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Blue Eagle gym in Quezon City.
Heruela, a standout from the University of Cebu Webmasters, had 13 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds to help the Superchargers get their seventh win against just one loss.
He also had plenty of help from his teammates as Janus Lozada swished a triple with 18 seconds remaining to seal the victory.
The Chiefs fell further down the bottom with a 1-7 (win-loss) record.
Former pro Riel Cervantes had 20 to lead Big Chill while Lozada finished with 18 markers.
