Expect rains in parts of Luzon due to cold front – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines – A tail-end of a cold front will bring rains in Central and Southern Luzon on Monday, the state weather bureau said.

The provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its morning bulletin.

The regions of Cagayan, Cordillera and Ilocos will be cloudy with light rains, it added.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

In Metro Manila, the coldest temperature on Sunday was at 5a.m. with 22.2 degrees Celsius. The hottest was at 1p.m. with 30.5 degrees Celsius.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the northeast over Southern Luzon. The coastal waters in these areas will be moderate to rough, Pagasa also said.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
