Young Cebuana reveals miraculous ‘breast cancer’ healing

/ 08:08 AM December 09, 2013

Charlyn Orbiso of barangay Mabolo in Cebu City was enjoying a simple, yet happy life with his husband Christian John, a sales clerk, and their 2-year old son, CJ McKenzie until a year ago when she detected a lump on her right breast.

It was a cause for alarm for this young mother since their family has a history of breast cancer.

“Yun pong pinsan ng father ko, may stage 4 breast cancer and yun ding pong pamangkin ng father ko, inoperahan din for breast cancer (My father’s cousin has stage four breast cancer and my father’s niece was operated for breast cancer),” Charlyn said.

But with hardly any resources, she was not able to come back, much less undergo a thorough medical test.

Charlyn bore the fear and the pain that the lump on her breast brought her.

“Masakit po sya pag nahahawakan ko at saka syempre natatakot po ako dahil lumalaki ang bukol (It hurts when I touch it, I’m afraid because it was getting bigger),” Charlyn added.

But if there’s anything that Charlyn has a lot of, it is faith.

“I always pray to Jesus that He’s the only one I trust in to heal me. I know He will answer my prayers,” Charlyn said.

Charlyn did not know that her faith will lead her to a miracle.

Asleep

She narrated that last November 15, she got home around 9 p.m. and decided to watch TV before going to sleep.

Charlyn chanced upon the “Buti na lang may Pasko (It’s a good thing there’s Christmas)” live presentation of The 700 Club Asia.

For some reason, she said that she was drawn to watch the program even as the whole family was already asleep.

Electrical current

Charlyn said that when The 700 Club Asia host Peter Kairuz prayed specifically for two ladies who are suffering from breast cancer. She broke down.

“Sir Peter prayed for two televiewers, one a stage 2 breast cancer victim, the other a stage 4 victim, he said they will be healed by the Lord.

“I cried because I know it was for me. I don’t know what stage the lump on my breast is, what I know is that I am being healed by the Lord at that time,” ” Charlyn happily recalled.

As she claimed the prayer for healing, Charlyn felt a surge of what seemed like electrical current in her whole body.

“Naramdaman ko po na may kuryente sa buong katawan ko at naramdaman ko po ang presence ni Lord dun mismo sa tabi ko,” Charlyn said.

She adds that she could not explain what was going on but it was enough to convince her that it was Jesus healing her.

After the prayer, Charlyn said that the pain in her breast vanished. And the lump shrunk miraculously that she had to exert effort just to locate it.

Charlyn adds: “Sobrang blessed ko po sa miraculous healing na ibinigay ng Panginoon sa akin. Kahit po may maliit pang natitira sa bukol, na-claim ko na po ang complete healing at alam ko pong ipagkakaloob iyon ng Diyos sa akin (I was greatly blessed by the miraculous healing given by the Lord to me. Even if there is still some that remains, I claim complete healing and I know God gave it to me).”  Anne Tiangco, CBN Asia
