Did you know: Pasig becomes city

Pasig was officially converted from a municipality to a highly urbanized city on Dec. 8, 1994, through Republic Act No. 7829. On July 2 of the same year, residents celebrated the first Araw ng Pasig.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
