Jealous man stabs 2 in drinking bout

A 26-YEAR-OLD man stabbed two men in a drinking session in barangay Carreta, Cebu City early morning yesterday.

Police said jealousy may have driven  Regan Recolcol to stab Teofilo Macheca, 24, and Celestino Agusto, 35.

Before  the attack, Macheca and Agusto were drinking with Recolcol’s girlfriend Angue Salomon.

Recolcol arrived and joined the group.

A few minutes later, Recolcol confronted the two men before attacking them with a knife, police said. Recolcol fled after the incident.

Macheca and Agusto were brought to the Cebu City Medical Center with stab wounds in different parts of their bodies./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
