Man falls in drug bust
POLICE arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized packs of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City.
It took a two-week surveillance before Larry Codoy, 48, was arrested Tuesday afternoon, said Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado, chief of the City Anti-illegal Drugs Task Force of the Cebu City police.
Avergonzado said Codoy is a level three drug pusher capable of selling 40 grams of shabu a week.
Codoy will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
Codoy refused to talk to reporters after his arrest.
Avergonzado said they have been receiving reports about the rampant illegal drug activities in Pulangbato.
