WikiLeaks expose can’t be used as basis for Senate probe—Escudero

MANILA, Philippines – Revelations by online whistleblower WikiLeaks cannot be basis to open a Senate investigation, Senator Francis Esudero was quoted as saying in a 990AM report Tuesday.

Escudero said the exposes were undocumented and were just good to read, the report said.

WikiLeaks disclosed that former First Gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo was involved in the illegal numbers game “jueteng” and smuggling while former President Fidel Ramos received P5 million in campaign funds from former Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi during the 1992 presidential elections.
