/ 08:30 AM December 05, 2013

THE Energen Family Run will hit Mandaue City’s major streets this Sunday with a thousand runners expected to answer the starting gun at Parkmall in Mandaue City.

The race is expected to draw the attention of running buffs since it’s one of the first races to be held after Supertyphoon Yolanda (Haiyan) caused the cancellation of some runs.

The running event will feature a 10-kilometer, 5k and 3k distances. According to race director Joel Juarez, registration is ongoing at the Chris Sports in SM City Cebu and Ayala Mall.
