MCWD reaches out to typhoon victims

/ 08:21 AM December 04, 2013

THE Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) distributed 1,200 food packs to the victims of typhoon Yolanda in northern Cebu.

The MCWD management decided not to hold a Christmas party this year and use the budget to help the victims. Employees also donated a portion of their 13th month pay that totaled P74,000.

The amount was used to purchase goods included in the distribution held in the different barangays of Tabogon, San Remegio, Medellin and Daanbantayan last Nov. 17.
