Did you know: 9,375 banks in PH

As of December 2012, there were 9,375 banks in the country, according to data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Of this figure, about 32 percent, or 2,993, were in the National Capital Region.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
