Militants rally in Petron office vs oil price hikes

MANILA, Philippines – Militant groups rallied in front of the Petron office in Ortigas against the spate of oil price increases, a 990AM report said.

The report said the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) and Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operators Nationwide (Piston) members gathered at the Petron main office as early as 9:30 a.m. in the San Miguel Corporation building.

Earlier on Tuesday, Shell raised the price of gasoline by 90 centavos per liter and kerosene and diesel by 70 centavos per liter to reflect the increase in the international prices of the products. Danica Hermogenes, INQUIRER.net
