Cloudy skies in Bicol, Aurora, Quezon

MANILA, Philippines—Bicol region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

“The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The coldest temperature on Monday in Metro Manila was at 21.8 degrees Celsius at 6 a.m., while the hottest temperature was at 30.9 degrees Celsius at 1:50 p.m.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.

Strong to gale force wind is expected to affect the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Central and Southern Luzon.

Fishing boats and other small seacraft were advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
